Our History
Established in 1976, General Trading and Equipment Company (GTE) has played a pivotal role in the development of Saudi Arabia’s infrastructure. Our experience and technical know-how add value to the products we provide, support, and service.
Among our Construction Equipment, we provide compact multi-functional earth-moving equipment (Skid Steer Loaders, Excavators, Telehandlers), Attachments, Road and Ground Compactors, Mobile Power and Lighting Units, and Accessories.
1976
Founded as General Trading Establishment, becoming the first Bobcat dealer in the Middle East. Starting with branches in Dammam, Riyadh, and Jeddah, the company gradually expanded its portfolio to include other premium partners supporting the construction sector
1980
Expanded into aerial work platforms, broadening the range of equipment offered to customers.
1996
Incorporated as General Trading & Equipment Co., supporting the company’s continued growth.
2012–2020
Grew from 3 to 10 branches across Saudi Arabia. During this period, the company added cleaning equipment and industrial equipment, supporting a wider range of commercial sectors.
2021–Present
Transitioned to General Trading & Equipment CJSC, reflecting the company’s continued development as a Closed Joint Stock Company and reinforcing its foundation for the future.
